Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus

Here is an arrangement of the HYPHERDOL tune, simply set for two stanzas with a key change in between the stanzas. The piece opens with an 8-bar introduction given in the piano, and the instrumental lines join in with the voices at the beginning of the sung melody. Instruments parts are written for the key change, and elevate the moment for the final text, "Born Thy people to deliver..." This a perfect hymn for Advent, and is sure to be a foundational truth for your congregation to dwell on during the birth and coming of the newborn King.
