Here is a light and bouncy arrangment of a fantastic service opener and familiar "camp meeting" hymn, "Brethren We Have Met to Worship." Opening with an energetic "off-beat" piano accompaniment (in the key of F), the instruments and congregation will follow along on two stanzas, and wait for a short 1-bar key change for the third and final stanza. This piece is not at all difficult to pull off for all musicians, and yet provides a memorable music moment for singers to enjoy as they remind themselves about the basic truths of meeting as a corporate body to worship the Lord. This piece is a great way to open your service!
