This arrangement of the well-known hymn tune follows an easy path, maintains a lower key for all singers to enjoy singing the melody, and uses substitution chords throughout for harmonic satisfaction. It begins with the piano opening for the first stanza, skips over the chorus to develop the arrangement and shorten the arrangement, and then moves into the second stanza, adding the orchestral instruments. The third stanza repeats the second stanza's material, and then the piano and instruments play a key change to enter voices into the fourth stanza.
