Christ Our Hope in Life and Death / Small Instrumental Set
This is one of the Getty's most recent and most uplifting hymns, along with the additional creative writers of Matt Boswell and Matt Papa. This hymn is a must-sing on all fronts. In this arrangement, the piano will open with Keith Getty's creative motive, and the instruments come in to strengthen the style and moment as the voices carry the truths of the text. Four stanzas are offered -- the first two stanzas are repeated, the third begins softer with solo piano, and the final stanza concludes with an outcry, "Unto the grave, what shall we sing,..." This powerful hymn can be sung not only for Sunday worship, but for funerals and events that highlight the power of the gospel.
This particular set includes a piano accompaniment, a treble clef C instrument (i.e. flute and/or violin), a bass clef instrument (i.e. cello) with several notated options, and a guitar chart. If using leading vocalists, the singers may use the guitar lead sheet for lyrics and notation.
