Here is an orchestration for the HYPHRYDOL tune, with the beloved text by J. Wilbur Chapman. Arrangement features 4 stanzas total, skipping over the first refrain, and building to a beautiful climax for a soaring 4th stanza. In the final (repeated) refrain, the instruments usher the voices into an acapella final section. The piece is scored for full strings, brass, winds, and percussion. Repeats and cues are clearly marked in the score for each instrument. The arrangement may also be used for the text, “I Will Sing of My Redeemer,” and other lyrics, as well.

The beautiful accompaniment and the unison congregation could be used both congregationally and chorally (as we did)… For small to medium-sized choirs on low attendance Sundays these could be effective choral pieces or as a way to develop choir and orchestra when (as is our case) some choir members are also instrumentalists. We used three pieces as part of our Easter celebration. All were very well received. We were able to include our developing orchestra with all of it. So, thank you!
